I love trying new things! New recipes, foods, crafts, decorations, beauty products, hairstyles, life hacks, cleaning tips…well, you get the idea. I find that as I try new things I want to share the awesomeness that I’ve found with others, how I would change it to make it better, or how I figured out how to make it work. Sometimes what I find isn’t that awesome, and I’ll tell you about that too. Keeping it real and honest; that’s what this blog is about.
So who am I and where am I from? I’m Anne and one of the hardest questions I get asked is “Where are you from?” I grew up an Army brat so I have no “roots” in one particular place. I was born in Washington and I have lived in Arizona, two different places in Texas, Germany, Kansas, Nebraska and Utah. One thing that I learned from moving around so much is that there is beauty to be enjoyed everywhere. I graduated from Brigham Young University in Youth Agency Administration. If you’re wondering what that means, you are not alone. This may help – I was a professional Girl Scout for 3 years while my husband finished his engineering degrees. After his graduation, we moved to Arizona for his work, and we have lived in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix area) ever since. We now have five sons which I lovingly refer to as Boy 1, Boy 2, Boy 3, Boy 4, and Boy 5.
I’m excited to share what I learn as I go through the crazy adventure that is my life, and I hope you’ll gain something from what I learn.
